Winter Eats!

Today I…thought I’d share with you a sandwich I made the other day. My bro came home with some Gruyere cheese which is my all-time favorite cheese! I couldn’t resist myself and made some grilled cheese sandwiches for me and my bro. Too bad Ave is too young because she missed out! Oh, and I had some fresh basil and tomatoes that the hubs picked up from the farmer’s market the other day..HAD to put those in.

I popped the sandwich in the toaster oven until the bread was nice and crunchy! Even though it’s very messy, I like when the bread crumbs fall everywhere. Mmm… This sandwich WOULD be perfect with some tomato basil soup or even a cup of french onion..BUT I didn’t have all those ingredients so chips and a tangerine it was!inside

PLACES: Farmer’s Market

Today I thought I’d share with you the first place we took our baby out: the good ol’ Farmer’s Market! There are a lot of questions whether you’re supposed to keep your baby enclosed for a couple months before taking them out. Some people say 2 weeks is good, others say 2 months. I really don’t know what to believe. In “What To Expect The First Year,” it basically states that once you and your baby leave the confines of the hospital, you’ve taken the baby out..so unless we live in some sort of tunnel, there’s really no way to prevent baby from being exposed to the open air once you leave the hospital. We were just so excited to take her out and use our stroller that we took her out the very next day. Lol. And..good thing we did because look who we saw…

Can you tell who it is? I’ll give you a hint..Mrs. Doubtfire! Haha. We were a little star struck. We also saw Ed Harris and Annette Benning. They were filming a new romantic comedy. It was fun to watch! P.S. Robin Williams is short!

Places: Farmers Markets!

TodayI.. have  been getting into shopping at Farmer’s Markets lately. There’s something really amazing about fresh produce. It’s really good for you, for one thing..and since my favorite things in the world to eat are vegetables, you just can’t go wrong.

I wonder if people who hate vegetables look at these pictures and are disgusted?? Haha.

Happy Friday! I have a crazy weekend ahead of me and then its back to school already :( I apologize if my posts might be a little slim the next couple weeks due to preparing for the next school year. The beginning is usually pretty hectic. But, keep checking back if you haven’t already subscribed to this blog. :) Here’s some things I’m looking forward to:
