Today I..am excited to share this gift idea with you. One of my cousins is getting confirmed this weekend as he just converted to the Catholic faith. It’s an exciting time for everyone and I wanted to get him a gift that would provide all the perfect tools needed to live out his faith! It’s kind of similar to the Graduation Gift Basket I made last year…if you remember.
Materials Needed:
- Cardboard Box
- Texture Card stock paper or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Washi Tape
- Free Printables (Front cover sign & Vintage labels)
- String
- Small gift items that coincide with your theme
Step 1: Start with a cardboard box.
Step 2: Using washi tape and textured card stock paper or construction paper, cover all sides of the box.
Step 3: Set out all the contents of your “survival kit” out & wrap them.
(contents of this particular Catholic Survival Kit were: Catechism of the Catholic Church, Inspirational Reading book, Pocket Rosary, Rosary Guide, and a crucifix)
Step 4: Label all your items and insert into box. Finish with the free template.
Happy Friday ya’ll! Have a great weekend!
