First of all, just wanted to thank all of you for all the love and support from yesterday’s post. I am so glad that you all know now and that the secret is out. It is TOO hard to keep a secret like that. Eddie and I truly appreciate all of your prayers and good vibes!
Anyhow, today’s unique find is…
OLD versus NEW logos
Lately, I’ve been noticing a lot of changes in many companies’ logos. Have you??? I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never paid much attention to them. However, now some of them really stand out to me. Maybe it’s because I’m trying to learn how to use Photoshop or maybe it’s because their new logos are SO much better than the old. I usually am not a fan of when companies change their logos, but I understand why they do it. It’s always nice to update every once in awhile…keep things fresh. See if you can see what I mean:
Food/Restaurant Logos (Old vs. New):
My favorite has to be Starbucks’ newer look and Daphne’s Greek Cafe. Sooo much better, don’t ya think? Also, I like how Pizza Hut’s looks more exciting and gives an illusion of some movement going on. It makes me think “eating Pizza is fun!”
Clothing Store Logos: (Old vs. New)
I actually really like the new look of the Ben Sherman logo. It’s more straight, crisp, and easier on the eyes. I’ve noticed a lot of companies are changing their fonts which makes a big difference in my opinion.
Other Logos: (Old vs. New)
Not that I’m a fan of Walmart or anything, but I do like their new, brighter look. Sprint’s is also more inviting and makes me think about them having “fast service” because of the movement of the bars. Also, I like how the drop shadows of the Holiday Inn logo adds a new dimension to their look.
