1st Day of School!!!

Well… The first week of school is officially here! Crazy how fast summer flew by! And.. It does just feel a little early since most other schools are still off for another month! Oh well, at least we get out in May!
Not only did I start my official first school day as a full time teacher yesterday.. I’m starting off with 33 Kinders.. And to me.. They are just going to be babies still!
It is definitely going to be a learning experience, but I’m looking forward to watching them grow.. Teaching them how to read and write (eek! So much pressure!) and just having fun with them!

Classroom Set up

Alright, it’s that time! 5 more days until the first day of school! Ah! I’m freaking out. This is the first year I have the ability to set up my own classroom which is really exciting for me! However, I never knew how much work it is! Here are pictures of Day 1: (BEFORE pictures)

The walls are so bare! The objective was just to take everything down from what was used during summer school. That took quite awhile! Day 2 we’ll be covering the walls with bulletin board paper. Ugh! I thought this was supposed to fun! Haha. I’ll be sure to share the progress with you this week!
